The Light is pleased to present our interview with Debbie Rankin, an artist and energy coach. Debbie assists people in Remembering how to Create from Love. 1. Please tell readers of The Light about your background. What led you to the spiritual path?

I was 18 years old when my brother was killed in a car accident. My sister-in-law began studying astrology after his death and when she prepared his chart, her chart and that of their daughter’s, his death was shown in each one. That peeked her interest and mine and I have been a student of metaphyics now for 31 years. In addition, I have always been one of those people others like to seek advice from and an inner knowing has been there with the answers.

2. When did you become aware of your abilities as a healer?

I have known for about 20 years there was something I was supposed to do in the area of healing and every psychic reading I had in the early years spoke of that ability. I began defining those abilities around 12 years ago when I connected with my Angels of High Magic and Psychic Surgeons. It was through those connections that I first experienced an incredible healing energy that emits from my hands. It is used in my art but I have done very little hands-on healing.

3. What is the focus of your healing work?

Working ethereally in my Crystalline Light Body, I analyze energy within and around people, pets, places and things and determine how to bring peaceful resolution to uncomfortable situations. Energies that are no longer for ones highest good can take several courses. If they are to remain with the client, they are transmuted and reintroduced in love and harmlessness. Others are sent to Source for healing and direction while others head back to their planets of origin. I establish a vortex as a loving and safe tool during the transition that takes place. The vortex’s are attended by angels and guides of all energies involved which helps relieve any fear that may occur. My goal is to re-establish love, not fear, as the basis for creation.

4. You do private sessions with individuals as well as workshops. Can you tell us more about what people may experience when they work with you, individually and/or within a group?

Whether it is a private session or workshop, people are drawn for all sorts of reasons, because they are physically ill, mentally out of sorts, feeling uneasy in their home or maybe it is a Realtor who is having a hard time selling a property. In private sessions, we review the situation over the phone, generally 45 minutes or so. We discuss their concerns and I explain what they can expect. I tell them the length of time I think the work will take, sometimes 24 hours, sometimes, 72 hours. One or more vortex’s are put in place. Guides and angels are called in to assist in various ways. Thick protective shields are placed around each person and pet as well as their home, land, and vehicle. All shields have mirrors on the outside. They are reminded of the love in which this work takes place and are told to go about their lives as usual. If they have a particular concern that arises they are to call. And if I “see” something they need to know about, I will call them. I “check in” each day and once the work seems finished, I meditate, gather the events that have taken place and call with the information. While the work is very powerful, the working energies are so protective and loving, most situations are accomplished in ease and grace.

There are also times when someone will just need an hour or two on the phone to clear, integrate or release various energetic situations. The basic steps explained above are done in the short sessions as well.

One great thing about this work. People don’t have to travel to me, nor I to them, in physical form, that is! Also, very little time is spent on the phone so their personal time and any long distance bills are kept to a minimum.

With workshops, I like to review a bit of the history of Earth and humans. I speak a lot about illusions, holograms and how everything is energy and how we are the creators of all that is. We work on recognizing the voice of our Truth. My goal is to show people how to accept their power and create from love, not fear. And all during the workshop, behind the scene, so to speak, my Light Body is assisting each person with their particular issue(s) that brought them there.

5. What is the most important lesson you have learned as a result of being on the spiritual path?

I can’t pick one important lesson!! Trust in my Inner Voice to direct my Truth as it is liberating, invigorating, and comes from harmlessness and love. And that discernment, not judgment, is a very important tool in reclaiming and keeping the boundries of ones energy signature.

6. Please tell us about your artwork. When did you begin painting and how has your artwork evolved?

I am not a trained artist. I learned the technique of Soul painting in 1991. It is healing art as it speaks to the higher self of the person who has commissioned the work and heals aspects within them. I go into a trace, ego completely aside and paint away! Color and design take on a life of their own. I absolutely love it for it is quite fun and healing for me too. And everyone sees so many different things in each piece. I work with oils on linen. As to how it has evolved, not one thing has changed since the first piece. It is always the same “artist” energy within me working with the direction of the subject’s higher self.
